Why give?

  • Providing educational opportunities not only builds self esteem and improved perspectives towards society within detainees, it can help reduce recidivism.

  • 78% of incarcerated people have experienced four or mote adverse childhood experiences, compared with just 16% of the general population.
    The Compassion Prison Project

  • Providing detainees with counseling and group lessons help address the psychological and emotional issues that may have influenced their illegal behavior. CCC seeks to provide those who might have otherwise felt stuck in a life o fcrime a sense of purpose and self-worth by addressing these underlying issues.

  • People are better prepared to live law-abiding lives after being released when they receive assistance, instruction, and counseling they require, ending the cycle of crimnality. Even the smallest of contributions from many can create a significant collective impact that can change lives.

  • Every investment in re-entry efforts benefits entire communities- Reduced recidivism, stronger families, and increased employment create positive ripple effects beyond individual participants.

  • For many detainees, this may be the first opportunity to have a mentor, positive figure, or chance for an education. Your donation shows that people do care and have faith and compassion for a transformed life.
