The first steps on the path to a changed life...

Move forward with education.
In conjunction with the Will County Regional Board of Education, CCC provides education and preparation as well as proctoring GED tests. In addition, we provide English as a Second Language, Spanish language classes, literacy classes, enrichment classes for those who have a high school diploma, and computer classes.
-

Be the best parent you can be.
Our Parenthood Program directly addresses the personal growth of parents, recognizing that their well-being is intrinsically linked to the health and future of their children and spouses. By supporting detainees in becoming better versions of themselves, we are actively working to build stronger families and safer communities in Will County.
-

Mental Health Support
We offer counseling, depression lessons, anger lessons, grief and loss lessons, parenting lessons, trauma groups and domestic abuse courses. In addition to paperwork offerings, CCC conducts weekly face-to-face groups in three men’s units, and one in the women’s unit. Additionally, we offer trauma recovery and sexual assault education in the women’s pod.
-

Take control of your life.
We offer classes on drug education, addiction, codependency, relapse, recovery lessons, resources for court, and AA/NA Groups. Detainees learn how to apply these lessons by making better lifestyle choices, decisions, and behavioral changes to pursue a sober, positive, and productive life.

Chaplaincy Support Services
CCC conducts weekly Bible study in all pods and support it with paper lessons as well. We also offer Chaplaincy services through bible distribution, classes, lessons, church services, and pastoral counseling.
